KUSA - A TORNADO WARNING is in effect for JeffCo, Douglas and Elbert counties til 3:45 p.m. Monday.

A TORNADO WATCH is in effect until 11 p.m. Monday for much of Denver and the Front Range as another round of severe storms is expected to sweep through the area.

The storms started west of Denver, and are moving southeast at 15 miles per hour.

These could contain heavy rain, large hail, damaging wind and even isolated tornadoes.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING was issued for southwest Douglas and South Jefferson counties through 3:45 p.m., the National Weather Service says. Hail up to an inch in diameter is possible, as well as 60 mile per hour gusts.

Denver International Airport says flights could be impacted by the severe weather. For flight information, go to: flydenver.com.

Another front arrives Tuesday morning and this will bring even cooler temperatures in the mid-70s. Warmer, summer weather returns for the second half of the week with highs back in the 90s.
